Hello, when I download and try to open the installer I get this error “This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured. Please contact the application author for assistance.”

You have to uninstall and delete the old version completely from your computer. Then you can reinstall and update.
We had to reissue the software verification certificate and that discrepancy between version 2.1 and 2.3 is causing that error.
Let me know if you have any other issues updating.

I thought I did that. Turns out I didn’t. Worked like a charm after I completely un-installed. Thanks a ton. We use this program to generate potential leads for our local optimization service. It’s been very useful.

I did as the above video stated and now I am being told that my email address and registration are invalid and “null.”

Got the new version installed…
Local Search works fine, but Places Search gives no results.
I made sure the old version was fully deleted and downloaded from the above link.
In my Windows 7 program manager it shows the newly installed version to be 2.0 NOT 2.3.
Matt- Newest version is 2.3 so it is not updating properly with the uninstall/reinstall.
You’ll have to delete the file from the “Program Files” folder ( if I remember windows correctly) and then try the install.
Let me know if that works.

Hi, I followed uninstall instructions. Used the donwload link above and re-installed.
Then did a Places search for Solicitors Reading, (my home town in UK).
The Places search does not match the Google search.
There are only 10 Places listings delivered (I checked the 50 leads on the tool).
And these top 10 are not as Google delivers.
It seems as though the tool is partially working now, i.e. it delivers Places leads but not a good match to Google Places either in rank (and I have signed out of my Google account to take personal preferences away) or in volume.
I don’t think this can be just a UK thing, but maybe it is?
As it stands I can’t use the tool for Places lead targeting i..e those unverified sites of those lacking reviews or those outside the Magnificent 7 that need to be optimised to increase position….all great things the tool will help you with….when it works!
ok – seems to be running much better now…
I have reinstalled it, but only brings down the a very small amount of searches compared to last version.
Would using Proxies help with this problem?

My localizer leads tool works well for the local search, but the places search does not work at all. When I press search, it starts to think, then stops immediately, with no results. It worked for the first 5 or so places searches…. I don’t know what happened. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling twice, and that has not helped. What is going on? I need the places search, and I paid you money for this program that doesn’t work.

Was using and hasn’t worked for about 3 weeks….I asked support and told that Google has changed and they are updating…..
